Adrian Bowboa, now Dree Anne came to A Tail to Tell Puppy Mill rescue in March 2022.
When she was found, it was apparent she was neglected for quite some time. She was matted, her nails were embedded into her paws, and she was dirty and scared. She had to be sedated to be groomed. Despite all she had been through, she had a sweet and joyful demeanor.
Once she joined our amazing rescue, she required immediate medical attention. She had multiple teeth pulled, she was spayed and multiple mammary tumors removed. She also had severe dry eye. (At the time of this tale, September 2022, her eyes have improved dramatically!)
Mimi C, her first foster, nursed her during her painful recovery, which required frequent bandage changes and administering multiple medications. Cindy, the medical team and Mimi were instrumental in helping her learn to trust and love again.
She joined our family on Monday, April 18, 2022, and we knew immediately she was our girl forever. Our kids accepted her and friends, family and neighbors adore her.
We adopted her on July 18, 2022, once she was completely healed.
Dree Anne is a sweet, curious, happy, loving, and very playful senior girl. She is at least 13. She loves toys. She loves meeting new people and has been on visits to nursing homes. She also enjoys her multiple daily walks.
Thank you Cindy and A Tail to Tell for saving her.
