We adopted Cheyenne (formerly Chowder), a five year old Bichon Frise on November 26, 2017. We don’t know a lot about her background, but I believe she was rescued from an Amish puppy farm by A Tail to Tell Inc in October 2017. We couldn’t imagine her life before her rescue but we are glad that she is with us now.
When she first came in with her foster parents, she was shy and timid but our resident Shih Tzu, Harvey wagged his tail upon first meeting her. We knew then that she would be a good fit. She passed Harvey’s initial meet and greet. Cheyenne has been doing great with her housebreaking. She has had accidents but they are few and far in between. She sleeps on our bed next to me every night and she follows me around everywhere. She loves being next to her favorite person.
She loves food, cookies and toys. She enjoys her walks and is no longer afraid of car noises. She comes up to guests and wags her tail. She is not using her pen anymore and has gained the freedom to roam the house.
She has changed so much. She smells good, has energy, her fur is back to a bright and fluffy white. We could not imagine life without her. She is a joy and we are glad we adopted her. She is right where she belongs, getting all the love and care that she so deserves.
Forever family,
Stephen, Hazel and Harvey
