Sled, born in 2015 is a shy beautiful girl who can start out scared but warms up once she trusts you which is rather quickly.
Sled is enjoying her new life in freedom. She loves to be outside.
Sled is crate trained and is doing very well with house breaking. She sleeps through the night in her crate and will let you know when she has to go out.
She can be very dominant and pushy with other female dogs so an only dog home or 1 well mannered male dog is recommended.
Sled is a great girl and would be happy to have a human to call her own.
From her foster daddy
Sled/Akira is learning to love kids. My nieces are very dog experienced with all of our dogs we have and fostered previously. She is learning that being close to them is a good thing because it comes with dropped or given snacks and also attention she craves. She will even go out and seek their affection at times. They are just not allowed to play tug with her due to her drive and excitability with that type of activity. The biggest thing is they know when to give her space when she needs it. She is possessive of her items she has in her mouth which I don’t blame her for. We are working on the drop it command and it’s a step in the right direction for that too
